CARA DEPTULA : biography
One of the co-creators of the series “Juice Bar”, Cara is an Actress, Host, and Voiceover Artist. She has worked in front of the camera in film/tv, commercials, infomercials, hosting, improv, interviewing, theatre, live storytelling, etc.
Although born in Steubenville, Ohio, Cara eventually moved to upstate New York, then to Texas where she began a career in Acting, Photography and Graphic Design. With performing and visual arts living in her soul, Cara expanded her interests into selling nature photography in galleries, designing/building furniture, acting in television, commercials, and movies, and studying improvisational comedic acting. Now living in Los Angeles, Cara strives to connect people on a deep level, compel people to giggle, open doors for Actors and Musicians, help others truly believe in their dreams and see them manifest, and positively touch the lives of others through the arts.
The sitcom Juice Bar has been noticed by CAA, WMA Fox, NBC, Netflix, productions companies, Agents, Managers, Investors, Producers, etc. The Juice Bar team consists of Writers and Producers from "I Love Lucy", "Dharma & Greg", "Mork & Mindy", "Dawson's Creek", "Stargate", etc.
The "Juice Bar" is currently in pre-production.
Cara has also worked as a Producer, Camera Operator, Copywriter, Casting Director, Mood Board Designer, Set Designer, and more.
